Sioux Empire Chapter of Midwest Mopars

Hello fellow Sioux Empire Members

Well winter has set in South Dakota! Are you sick of the snow? I was until this week when I have been writing estimate after estimate! Good for the body shops. Just kind of put a crunch in the pair of Chargers we are doing at least they just want them when the snow melts!

So now that it is a new year what are your resolutions? Mine pretty much is trying to mostly get my family in a better financial situation and to spend more time with them. It seems like it was just yesterday that our oldest son was born and now he is in kindergarten. Pretty soon he will be in the place I was when the club/show was stared. Helping out in any way he can!

I don't have any new news on the show at this time. Plans are kind of in limbo. I have been trying to make some new contacts and looking into new possibilities for this year's show. Feedback continues to state that everyone is happy with the way the show is going and currently planned. However, I see where the Midwest Mopars in the Park car show has gone over the years and especially what they have done in the past two years! WOW!!! We are lucky to be a part of the club we call Midwest Mopars! I hope each and every one of our members will make plans to take part in this year's show. Maybe take notes or get ideas for our show and see what smaller scale we can pull off. I hope to make it up there this year. If I can, I am going to try to work a deal out with the 68 Charger we are doing to let the customer allow me to take it up! Time will tell but keep your fingers crossed!

At this time I am not going to try to get any meetings going. The main reason being the winter we are having. So for February and March let's postpone them. I will keep everyone informed on any dealings with the show/club by the newsletter as well as if I have any breaking news I can have Terry post it on the website or send out a mailer.

Until next month

Corey
